Ramin in Space for London Theatre Magazine
Last month, I was commissioned by London Theatre Magazine to shoot portraits of Ramin Karimloo, currently appearing in the Elvis Costello/Sarah Ruhl musical A Face in The Crowd, at the Young Vic.
As well as studio-lit options, I spotted some beautiful light streaming in through a high window in the cavernous, atmospheric rehearsal room the YV gave us to shoot in.
Fortunately, Ramin was up for taking a few risks, so I could indulge my love of dramatic portrait energy & cinematic lighting vibes.
