Matching Futuristic Stills in Motion

I flexed my creative lighting muscles recently with a futuristic, Blade Runner-esque set up for stills & motion, shooting personal work with actor Jamie Rose Duke.
I met Jamie Rose Duke on a commissioned shoot early last Spring & we hit it off, so she agreed to pop back to the studio for a collaboration a few weeks later.
Recently appearing the ‘Death at Pemberley’ tour, she has a very classic ‘period’ look & vibe, so we leant into a futuristic setup.
Glow Up
Becca Lymbourides (@revekka.hmu) brought beautiful makeup & hair skills to bear while I wrangled frosted roofing panels into a set & lit everything in glowing, contrasting colours (see BTS pics below).
Then Jamie brought her posing skills to the table & embraced her inner android. Dreaming of electric sheep, perhaps?
Matching Stills & Motion Through the Haze
We shot stills & video using the @fujifilmuk GFX 100 II, taking every opportunity to scuzz things up with haze & various @prismlensfx filters.
Tim and co at Mannbros gave the video a lovely edit & grade & Matt Brewin added his customary polish to the stills. Check out the continuity from the image above through the video below
Et voila. Everything that a quick personal shoot shoot be, fun, creative and filled with awesome, talented people.
