Hurray for Hollywood: Portraits of the Bake Off star as he goes on tour.
Shooting portraits of baker-par-excellence Paul Hollywood for his forthcoming tour, and sadly not a crumb of cake in sight…
Autumn is in the air, which must mean it’s Bake Off o’clock, and accordingly I was out on location recently to shoot portraits of ol’ blue eyes himself: Mr Paul Hollywood.
Paul is heading out on tour next year, bringing a mixture of practical demos and Bake Off-style competitive antics to over 20 venues across the UK, and promoters Cuffe & Taylor commissioned me to shoot the artwork.
Baking Hot
Despite being September, it was a baking hot 30 degree day, which presented some issues as we were setting up an outdoor studio (see BTS shots below).
Thankfully, Paul stayed icy cool despite the heat and we nailed some trademark Hollywood Blue Steel looks.
Sadly though, it wasn’t really the weather for cooking, so despite visiting one of the most famous bakers in the country, not a crumb of cake was consumed!
